KidSONO is designed to blend online and in-person learning and we don’t currently run onsite courses. To obtain a certificate of completion you will need to complete supervised practice with a KidSONO instructor. If your center is not using KidSONO and you need access to hands-on teaching contact us and we will see if we are able to help.

KidSONO has been approved for category 3 MOC credit, number of hours varies by module. Upon completion of a module you can submit your KidSONO certificate as proof of completion.

While there is no strict time limit, we would encourage you to complete the course over no longer than a few months. A focused effort will improve knowledge acquisition and consolidation. Longer than this and you will begin to forget the earlier content.

You will have access to the online course materials after course completion. Our goal is to help you feel confident in point of care ultrasound. A key component of this is review and spaced repetition.

You must complete both online materials and the hands-on sessions to receive a certificate of completion. Like any motor skill, supervised practice is key to achieving competence
