Course Description

Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) is an attractive modality to diagnose intussusception at the bedside rapidly and accurately. Plain radiographs often fail to detect intussusception, while PoCUS offers high diagnostic accuracy without exposing patients to ionizing radiation. The KidSONO Intussusception module allows learners to master each step on the path to PoCUS competence. Upon completion of this module, clinicians will be able to safely perform and interpret PoCUS images at the bedside.
