Course Description

Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) has emerged as an important tool in cardiac assessment. It has the benefits of being performed rapidly and safely at the bedside and is free from ionizing radiation. The KidSONO Introduction to Cardiac Windows module equips learners with the skills to obtain the five standard cardiac views used in pediatric PoCUS. By the end of the course, participants will be able to confidently acquire these fundamental cardiac windows and recognize the relevant anatomy.
