Course Description

Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) is an increasingly valuable tool in pediatric airway management, offering real-time imaging to support clinical decision-making. In addition to its diagnostic utility, PoCUS can be performed rapidly and safely at the bedside and avoids the risks associated with ionizing radiation. The KidSONO Endotracheal Intubation module focuses on the application of PoCUS during endotracheal intubation in pediatric patients.  The module allows learners to master each step on the path to PoCUS competence. Upon completion, clinicians will be equipped to safely perform and interpret PoCUS in pediatric endotracheal intubation procedures.
