Course Description

Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) is rapidly becoming the standard of care in the guidance of invasive procedures. It can be performed rapidly and safely at the bedside, is free from ionizing radiation and improves procedural safety and success. The KidSONO peripheral intravenous access module allows learners to master each step on the path to PoCUS competence. Upon completion, clinicians will be able to safely perform ultrasound-guided peripheral intravenous access at the bedside.
