Course Description
Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) is a tool that can help rapidly identify testicular torsion and guide urgent management in patients with acute scrotal pain. The KidSONO Testicular Torsion module allows learners to build core skills in performing and interpreting testicular PoCUS for suspected torsion. Upon completion, learners will be able to identify when to perform PoCUS in patients with acute scrotum, understand the technique to perform testicular PoCUS, and recognize the ultrasound findings that indicate testicular torsion.
