Course Description
Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) is a rapid, safe, and non-invasive method to assess bladder volume in children. Accurate assessment of bladder volume is essential for evaluating urinary symptoms, confirming proper Foley catheter placement, and monitoring voiding function.
The KidSONO Bladder Volume module equips participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills to measure bladder volume, recognize urinary retention, and apply these skills in common pediatric clinical scenarios.
